Job Description
Position Overview:
Synergy Design Group is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper to support the company's financial and administrative operations. This role works closely with the CFO and leadership team to ensure accurate financial management, maintain organized records, and support the day-to-day administrative functions that keep the business running efficiently. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple responsibilities, and experienced in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and operational coordination. This position plays an important role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting leadership decision-making, and ensuring internal processes run smoothly.Key Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping Excellence:
Keep our financial records sharp and accurate using top-notch accounting software. Record daily financial transactions and ensure everything is in its right place.Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process invoices like a pro and ensure our payments are always on time. Manage client invoicing and expertly follow up on outstanding payments.Bank Reconciliation Wizardry:
Reconcile bank statements and maintain flawless financial records. Swiftly identify and resolve any discrepancies.Financial Reporting:
Generate detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide regular financial updates to our management team.Compliance Champion:
Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with accounting regulations and ensuring compliance. Assist in preparing for financial audits.Budgeting & Forecasting:
Collaborate with our CFO to develop and monitor budgets that align with our goals. Assist in financial forecasting to help guide our strategic planning.Payroll Precision:
Audit and input billable time for hourly employees. Work with our payroll provider to ensure seamless payroll processing and tax compliance.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online. A keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and sharp analytical abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
