Role Overview Sodexo is seeking an Accountant within Segment Support in Cheektowaga, NY . We need a natural problem-solver, who thrives on challenges. Who enjoys a high energy, fast paced environment. This is a hybrid position, requires 3 days in office upon completion of training. What You'll Do Key responsibilities: Ensure integrity of business line internal financial reporting & prepare client income statements & billings Apply GAAP & objective accounting judgement to knowledge of contractual agreements & company policy. Manage daily phone calls and emails to assist operators with financial acumen Work proactively to prevent problems, and identify and implement innovative solutions Foster cooperation toward achieving department and organizational goals Work on contract amendment review including billing and system updates Reconcile, review, and validate Blackline reconciliations and supporting documentation What We Offer Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. What You Bring Key qualifications:

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent experience Ability to perform and maintain core responsibilities / accountabilities PC & related software knowledge - excel skills and Essbase experience Strong communications and customer service skills Ability to work in a team environment to ensure department deadlines are met.
