Job DescriptionJob Description Job Description One of Insight Global's healthcare clients is looking for an Accountant to join their team in Camden, NJ. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working onsite for the first 90 days before transitioning to a hybrid schedule (2 days remote). This role will primarily focus on lease accounting and lease transaction management , including reviewing lease agreements, interpreting contract terms, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP standards. In addition to lease-related responsibilities, this individual will support account analysis, balance sheet reviews, journal postings, and bank reconciliations. They must be comfortable working with large sets of financial data, collaborating cross-functionally with staff and leadership, and working independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for reviewing contracts and engagements, providing clear summaries, and handling sensitive financial information with a high degree of professionalism. Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (Finance degree is accepted, if completed Accounting I & II.
- 1-5 years of experience in general industry accounting, financial reporting and budgeting, lease transaction
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Ability to navigate various accounting/budgeting/reporting software tools Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Hospital or Physician Practice accounting experience
- EPIC experience
