AR Accountant

Job DescriptionJob Description Staff Accountant Rochester, New York Metropolitan Area (Hybrid) LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant at our manufacturing client in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will be responsible for supporting the AR process and general accounting duties.

Essential Functions:

Accountable for applying daily cash to customer accounts, Interact with customers regarding collections and other issues, Reconcile subsidiary accounts receivable to general ledger, Application of progress payments, prepare and maintain various reports, Assist in performing customer credit reviews. Support SOX documentation and testing requirements. Backup support of other general accounting responsibilities. Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned. Order Entry of Invoices General Accounting functions Syteline ERP accounting software a plus Minimum requirements: B.S. degree in accounting or finance with up to 5+ years experience in an accounts receivable position. Strong systems and computer skills required. Highly organized, Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills, Excellent oral and written communications skills. Pay Details:
