Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Client Advisory and Accounting System Specialist, where you willl play a pivotal role in managing client relationships while ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our accounting systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to blend client service excellence with technical accounting expertise, supporting our financial operations and enhancing client satisfaction. You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial data, optimizing accounting software tools, and providing expert guidance on financial processes to both internal teams and external clients. Your energetic approach and meticulous attention to detail will drive success in this fast-paced environment. Duties Serve as the primary point of contact for clients Manage and maintain various accounting software platforms such as QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify and Product Management software. Perform detailed account reconciliations including balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable management, and general ledger adjustments. Conduct data entry with precision for journal entries, account analysis, and bookkeeping activities following GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards. Prepare documentation for audits. Assist in governmental and non-profit accounting functions by applying specialized knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial concepts. Collaborate with teams to perform month-end closing activities such as account reconciliation, financial reporting, and budget analysis. Skills Bachelor's Degree required at a minimum Extensive experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Bill.com, Expensify, Product Management software and other financial management systems. Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), governmental accounting standards, and non-profit accounting practices. Proficiency in technical accounting tasks such as journal entries, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger management. Knowledge of payroll management systems l Ability to perform detailed data entry tasks Familiarity with SOX compliance procedures to support internal controls and audit readiness. Excellent analytical skills with a solid grasp of financial concepts including budgeting, credit analysis, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Strong mathematical aptitude combined with effective communication skills for client advisement and team collaboration. Experience working in public accounting or within a corporate finance environment is highly desirable. $66,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
