View our website at AceSolutions.com Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of financial accounting related to construction projects, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation. Prepare detailed financial reports, including cash flow analysis, budget forecasts, and project cost reports, ensuring accuracy and clarity for stakeholders. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections aligned with project timelines. Utilize ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, Xero, or similar software to record transactions, generate reports, and maintain data integrity. Conduct cost management activities by analyzing expenses against budgets, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions. Perform payroll processing and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements for internal controls. Support internal audits by providing detailed account analysis and documentation to ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulatory standards. Requirements Proven experience in financial or corporate accounting within the construction or public accounting sectors. Strong knowledge of financial concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and account reconciliation processes. Proficiency with accounting software including SAP, QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero, or other ERP systems; experience with financial report writing is preferred. Familiarity with SOX compliance procedures and internal control frameworks. Ability to perform cash flow analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and cost management activities accurately. Excellent analytical skills with the capacity to interpret complex financial reports and provide actionable insights. Knowledge of GAAP standards and technical accounting principles applicable to corporate finance environments.
