Cost Accountant (Temporary Project)

100% Remote We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant for a temporary, project-based engagement. This role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, leverage strong NetSuite expertise, and support key cost accounting functions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Analyze and maintain standard costs, including updates and variance analysis Review and reconcile inventory, COGS, and related accounts Partner with operations to evaluate cost drivers and identify efficiencies Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations Generate and analyze cost reports, providing insights to leadership Support process improvements and system optimization within NetSuite Qualifications Strong cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based environment Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required) Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting and quickly get up to speed Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to communicate findings clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders Project Details Fully remote Immediate start preferred Short-term / project-based engagement (with potential for extension) If you're a hands-on cost accounting professional with deep NetSuite experience and available for a remote project, we'd love to connect.
