General Ledger Accountant

job summary: General Accounting Manager (GL Ownership) We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive General Accounting Manager to take full ownership of the General Ledger and drive the month-end close process. In this role, you will be the primary lead for complex account reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and global consolidations, ensuring all financial statements are accurate and GAAP-compliant. As a key player in our financial operations, you'll manage critical segments of the close cycle, streamline reporting workflows, and provide high-level analysis to senior leadership. Opportunity is 100% remote but preference to midwest time zone.

Extensive, hands-on experience with NetSuite is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.

Excel Mastery:

Must be "heavy" in Excel, with the ability to build complex templates, utilize advanced formulas, and manage large datasets efficiently.

Technical Accounting:

Strong background in consolidation processes and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, high-volume accounting environment.

Leadership:

Proven ability to manage specific close functions and collaborate across departments to meet tight deadlines.
