ABclonal has a comprehensive prokaryotic and eukaryotic protein expression system, an advanced mouse monoclonal antibody production system, and a fourth-generation rabbit monoclonal antibody technology. Our advanced technology allows the development of in vitro diagnostic products and customized IVD materials used in the early research and development of raw materials development services. About the Role We are seeking a highly analytical and process-driven GL Accountant to lead our day-to-end controllership, tax, and reporting compliance workflows. In this role, you will own the general ledger, spearhead our monthly and annual closing procedures, and serve as the primary anchor for our annual audit and corporate tax filings (including CIT, RPT, and Transfer Pricing). Beyond core technical accounting, you will act as a vital strategic partner to the business—advising cross-functional teams on the tax and financial implications of new operational initiatives. Operating in a dynamic environment that bridges U.S. and international frameworks, you will leverage your deep expertise in US GAAP (and familiarity with Chinese Accounting Standards) to optimize internal controls, streamline financial processes, and ensure flawless statutory reporting.
Responsibilities:
Facilitate monthly closing procedures (payroll, cash, IC and etc.) Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile US GAAP to local GAAP. Review and timely complete monthly tax filings and statistics reports. In charge of annual audit work, reviewing all audit packages and preparing SFS, ensuring no audit adjustments and no overruns. Review and file annual CIT and RPT returns, annual statistics reports and TP reports. Support the business, partnering to support and advice on new initiatives and processes from an accounting/tax perspective. Identify and improve internal processes from accounting and tax compliance perspectives. Develop and execute ongoing, end-to end, accounting & controllership processes, policies, and controls for a specific work stream. Make recommendations on the best way to analyze information, consistent with established standards and policies.
Required skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum five years' experience in accounting/finance. Great verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with workers of all levels throughout the company. Excellent knowledge of GAAP and regulations. Understanding Chinese accounting standards is highly preferred. Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and one of the commonly used accounting ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite.
