Job Description

Description Robert Half is currently partnering with a growing organization is seeking a Corporate Accounting & Payroll Specialist to manage bi‑weekly payroll processing, corporate accounts payable, cash management activities, and key month‑end responsibilities. This position plays a critical role within the Corporate Accounting team and collaborates closely with internal departments. This is a direct hire position that is in Roseville, CA. that has a hybrid schedule. For more information on this position, please call Lisa Cole at 916-649-0832.
Responsibilities:
+ Process bi‑weekly payroll in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations using payroll software (e.g., UKG) + Coordinate benefit enrollment, billing, and deductions + Review and process garnishments + Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits + Support annual payroll and 401(k) audits and reporting + Process corporate accounts payable, including overhead, employee reimbursements, and project‑related expenses + Prepare journal entries related to payroll, benefits, and accruals + Reconcile billing accounts such as credit cards, cellular services, and rental car programs + Maintain organized digital/physical filing and documentation + Troubleshoot integration issues between invoice approval systems and GL software + Participate in weekly accounting meetings + Communicate status updates, deadlines, and potential issues proactively + Cross‑train with team members for coverage flexibility + Perform other accounting duties as assigned + Monitor daily cash balances and update internal reporting + Prepare and record internal transfers and external wires + Process accounts receivable deposits
Requirements Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience in payroll and/or accounting roles + Strong understanding of payroll compliance and general accounting principles + Strong analytical and reconciliation abilities + Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment + Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to follow procedures while exercising independent judgment Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
