Payroll Accountant

Description Robert Half is currently partnering with a growing organization is seeking a Corporate Accounting & Payroll Specialist to manage bi‑weekly payroll processing, corporate accounts payable, cash management activities, and key month‑end responsibilities. This position plays a critical role within the Corporate Accounting team and collaborates closely with internal departments. Responsibilities:

+ Process bi‑weekly payroll in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations using payroll software (e.g., UKG) + Coordinate benefit enrollment, billing, and deductions + Review and process garnishments + Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits + Support annual payroll and 401(k) audits and reporting + Process corporate accounts payable, including overhead, employee reimbursements, and project‑related expenses + Prepare journal entries related to payroll, benefits, and accruals + Reconcile billing accounts such as credit cards, cellular services, and rental car programs + Maintain organized digital/physical filing and documentation + Troubleshoot integration issues between invoice approval systems and GL software + Participate in weekly accounting meetings + Communicate status updates, deadlines, and potential issues proactively + Cross‑train with team members for coverage flexibility + Perform other accounting duties as assigned + Monitor daily cash balances and update internal reporting + Prepare and record internal transfers and external wires + Process accounts receivable deposits

Requirements Qualifications:
