Payroll Consultant

Payroll Consultant Our client, a global technology organization, is seeking an Interim Payroll Consultant to provide hands-on payroll support during a transition period. This position is fully remote, and the engagement is expected to last 3 months.

Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and international employee populations Support multiple payroll cycles with varying pay frequencies Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, ensuring compliance with applicable tax and labor regulations Partner with internal teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries Support payroll-related accounting activities, including reconciliations and journal entry preparation Ensure accurate data flow between payroll systems and the general ledger Maintain documentation and support audits or internal reviews as needed Operate independently to meet payroll deadlines with minimal oversight

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on payroll experience Experience supporting payroll in multiple countries, including the U.S. and at least one additional jurisdiction Strong understanding of payroll compliance, benefits, and payroll-related accounting Experience working with payroll systems and large data sets Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
