Our client is an established Real Estate firm specializing in Commercial, Industrial & Retail property ownership & management. This role is open due to promotion!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting & Reporting:
Prepare monthly financial statement analysis in accordance with GAAP Collaborate with regional team on monthly reporting and presentation Prepare lender reporting packages including compliance certificates Prepare monthly bank reconciliations Record monthly adjusting and accrual entries (including construction and retention) Update fixed asset system for additions and disposals and record monthly depreciation/amortization Run monthly depreciation and record entries Monitor cash balances Collaborate with regional teams on other operational reporting initiatives, as necessary Assist in the annual audit and tax return preparation Assist regional teams in annual budget preparation Assist with straight line schedule Collaborate with regional team on CAM reconciliations Assist Controller with special projects
Accounts Receivable:
Record tenant receipts against monthly charges Process monthly tenant billings and other miscellaneous billbacks Rent up generation Monitor tenant accounts for overages/shortages and past due amounts Send monthly invoices/statements to tenants Enter lease data in Yardi Prepare A/R report for regional and executive review.
Accounts Payable:
Review and code invoices in Payscan Process Pay Apps and ensure all supporting documentation is provided Record electronic payments Review & post AP Create TBA for billbacks initiated by invoices

Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting A minimum of two(2) years prior property accounting experience, including accounts payable. Yardi or MRI experience, a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis in Excel. Foundation of property accounting principles
