Senior Accountant Compensation:

$65,000 - $85,000/year + bonus

Location:

Pittsburgh, PA Schedule:

Monday to Friday (Hybrid) Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Accountant in Pittsburgh, PA for our client, supporting month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting within a growing organization. This role will partner with accounting leadership on reconciliations, process improvements, and operational accounting activities while helping maintain accurate financial records. Senior Accountant:

Month-End Close:

Support monthly close processes, prepare journal entries, and assist with reconciliations and financial reporting activities.

Fixed Asset Accounting:

Maintain fixed asset schedules, depreciation records, and supporting documentation across the organization.

Inventory Accounting:

Assist with inventory accounting processes, reporting analysis, and reconciliation activities.

General Ledger Review:

Analyze financial records and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Tax & Compliance Support:

Prepare sales and use tax filings while supporting compliance and accounting documentation requirements.

Process Improvement:

Help enhance accounting procedures, reporting workflows, and financial record maintenance processes. Qualifications for the

Senior Accountant:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.

Experience:

2+ years of accounting experience within corporate accounting or a related environment is required.

Industry Knowledge:

Experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes is required.

Technical Skills:

Experience with ERP systems, advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools is required.

Skills & Attributes:

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, communication abilities, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are required.
