Our client, a well-established real estate investment and operating company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their collaborative finance and accounting team. Opportunity:
This role will support a portfolio of real estate assets and work closely with various cross-functional teams across the organization. The position offers broad exposure to operational accounting, reporting, financial analysis, and business operations within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities may include:
Full-cycle accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of assets/entities Month-end and year-end close processes Journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis Financial statement preparation and supporting schedules Collaboration with teams across accounting, operations, investments, and development Assisting with process improvements, reporting initiatives, and ad hoc projects
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field Approximately 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to full-cycle accounting Strong foundation in general ledger accounting and financial reporting Analytical mindset with attention to detail and curiosity to learn Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Real estate industry experience is helpful but not required; interest in the space is highly valued This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a collaborative team environment with strong leadership, meaningful exposure, and the ability to continue growing professionally within a respected organization.
