Job Description
Creative Financial Staffing is working with a fast-growing private equity backed Manufacturing company south of Boston to identify a Senior Accountant to join their team. Fast-growing Private Equity backed manufacturing company transitioning from an entrepreneurial stage environment to a sophisticated financial organization Newly created position due to growth Flexible work hours Competitive benefits Hybrid work schedule The Senior Accountant's responsibilities include but are not limited to: Handle all aspects of general ledger accounting Prepare account reconciliations and the monthly close process Research and resolve various accounting issues as they arise relating to depreciation, revenue accruals, accounts payable accruals, intercompany charges, etc. Effectively and proactively communicate with AR and AP managers, clarifying accounting requirements and priorities. Manage close schedules, alerting team members of upcoming deadlines for GL and subledger closes. Participate in various project work, such as improving accounting processes to create efficiencies or greater financial visibility
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or experience equivalent 3+ years of accounting experience Strong Excel skills including v-lookups and pivot tables
