Senior Accountant | High-Growth Wellness & CPG Brand | Remote A rapidly growing and mission-driven CPG and wellness company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. Scaling rapidly across DTC and retail channels, the company is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to help support that growth. Reporting directly to the Controller, this is an opportunity to join a vision-led, collaborative team while playing a highly visible role in strengthening financial operations, improving processes, and supporting a fast-growing consumer brand. High-Growth Consumer / Wellness / CPG Environment What You'll Do As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in managing core accounting functions, supporting month-end close, and ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple revenue channels and inventory flows. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial analysis Analyze variances, investigate discrepancies, and ensure financial accuracy across the general ledger Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations including cash, inventory, accruals, deferred revenue, AP/AR, and fixed assets Support revenue accounting across Shopify, Amazon, and wholesale channels Apply GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, and Marketing teams to improve reporting accuracy and operational visibility Support inventory accounting, weighted average costing, and inventory movement analysis Assist with audits, tax support, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives Help build scalable accounting processes within a rapidly growing organization What We're Looking For Requirements 1-4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and the full accounting cycle Experience with balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and revenue recognition Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment Strong Plus CPA or public accounting experience Consumer products / CPG industry experience Inventory accounting experience Familiarity with DTC, Amazon, and wholesale revenue flows Experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, or similar platforms If you're looking to join a mission-driven company focused on health, wellness and mindful living, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
