Our vibrant campus offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Hospice services. Residents enjoy access to amenities including a fitness center, pool, pub, theater, and gourmet dining. We are currently hiring a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This position supports the accounting department through general ledger accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, budgeting, audit support, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to supporting our mission of providing exceptional care and services to older adults.
Wage:
$75,000-$90,000/yr
Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday-Friday (Hybrid) What You'll Do Assist with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement review. Perform intercompany accounting, debt service accounting, and fixed asset accounting. Analyze accounts receivable aging and reserves. Process ACH transactions and remote deposits. Assist with annual budgeting, financial reporting, and audit support. Prepare quarterly reports and support Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting. Support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions as needed. Complete additional accounting projects and duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting required. 5+ years of senior-level general ledger accounting experience. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments. Healthcare accounting experience preferred. Work Environment and Reporting Reports directly to the Controller. Primarily office-based with remote work capabilities. Collaborates with leaders and departments throughout the organization. Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy in all financial activities
