Senior Accountant Segrera Associates Boca Raton, FL Job Details Full-time $100,000 - $115,000 a year 22 hours ago Qualifications Accounting experience within human resources Financial close processing Preparation of internal financial performance reports Payroll tax processing Labor cost analysis Full Job Description Key Responsibilities Prepare and record payroll-related journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations as part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process. Reconcile payroll, benefits, taxes, and related balance sheet accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Review payroll data and reports for accuracy and completeness, ensuring payroll transactions are properly reflected in the general ledger. Support payroll tax reporting, audits, and compliance requirements by preparing schedules, analyses, and supporting documentation. Partner with Payroll and Human Resources to ensure accurate accounting treatment of compensation, benefits, incentives, and employee-related liabilities. Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of payroll-related workpapers and audit requests. Analyze payroll trends, labor costs, and variances to support management reporting and decision-making. Identify opportunities to improve payroll accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies.
