OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE

Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis across multiple locations. This role will be heavily involved in weekly and month-end reporting, while also driving process improvements, automation, and data integrity across systems. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally and taking ownership of reporting and financial processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Review and analyze financial data from multiple locations to ensure accuracy and completeness The Senior Accountant will prepare and distribute weekly and month-end financial reports Support the close process through journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis Partner with operations to provide financial insights and respond to ad hoc requests Manage billing processes and assist with audit support as needed The Senior Accountant will maintain data integrity across accounting and reporting systems Assist with budgeting processes, including troubleshooting variances and maintaining reporting structures Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of accounting or finance experience Strong understanding of financial reporting and close processes Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis) Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite or similar platforms preferred Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively and work cross-functionally #
