Job Description:

Senior Accountant My client located in Plano, TX is in need of a Senior Accountant / Operations professional. This is a hybrid direct hire opportunity. Company Profile Our client is a growing entrepreneurial holding company that oversees multiple businesses and investments. Senior Accountant Role Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Prepare financial reporting packages and support leadership reporting requirements Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities Perform multi-entity accounting across the organization and its subsidiaries Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities Support payroll processing and benefits administration as needed Partner with executive leadership on operational initiatives and business projects Identify and implement process improvements across accounting and operational functions Help improve workflows, reporting processes, and scalable infrastructure to support growth Analyze financial and operational performance and provide actionable recommendations Participate in automation initiatives and system enhancements Assist with strategic planning and special projects across multiple business units Senior Accountant Background Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-7 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Experience supporting month-end close and financial statement preparation Experience with ERP or accounting software systems Advanced Excel skills Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Public accounting experience preferred Startup, entrepreneurial, family office, or multi-entity experience preferred CPA designation preferred but not required Benefits and Features Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with company match Hybrid schedule with one work-from-home day per week Flexible working hours Long-term growth and leadership opportunities Direct exposure to ownership and executive leadership
