Health, Vision, Dental on Contract Sanford Rose is seeking a talented Senior Accountant to join our client within the nonprofit industry on a

CONTRACT

basis. This individual will support day to day accounting operations during an active audit period and play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely month end close activities.

Responsibilities:

Perform full month end close procedures including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Prepare and complete bank reconciliations accurately and timely Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Record daily deposits, log checks into the accounting system, and coordinate deposits with the Controller Prepare and post journal entries related to month end activities and financial adjustments Maintain fixed asset schedules, record depreciation, and reconcile fixed asset activity Assist with preparation of financial reports and supporting documentation for audit purposes Ensure accuracy of financial data in compliance with nonprofit accounting standards Support accounting operations during audit season by maintaining organized and accurate records

Qualifications:
