Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex accounting functions, ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and support the organization's financial integrity. Your expertise in Quickbooks and/or Bill.
Comsoftware, and financial analysis will drive accurate reporting and streamline financial operations. Duties Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions to maintain accurate financial records. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Bill.
Com, or Excel. Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and internal audit requirements through meticulous documentation and process adherence. Assist with corporate accounting functions including financial statement preparation, analysis of variances, and month-end/year-end closing activities. Conduct detailed account reconciliations for the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and other financial accounts. Experience Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles with a focus on financial reporting and analysis. Life Sciences or Biotechnology industry experience is a plus! Extensive knowledge of GAAP standards combined with hands-on experience using various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Bill.
