Bonus Client/Job Summary:
Our client is a fast-growing, innovative fintech company looking for a senior accountant to build the accounting function. This role gives the opportunity for full ownership, working closely with senior leadership, and being part of a fast-growing firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Document and oversee the company's finance and accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger. Develop accounting policies, implement internal controls, and prepare for audits. Implement accounting tools and ERP systems. Support with budgeting and forecasting. Support expense and cost management.
Key Qualifications:
Active CPA strongly preferred (or actively pursuing) 3-5+ YOE in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) working with tech or high-growth clients. Strong technical accounting skills (revenue recognition and complex transactions) Experience implementing accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct) Experience with or passion for crypto, digital payments, or Web3
Bonus:
Prior experience with digital asset accounting, payment processing companies, or fintech startups
