Job DescriptionJob Description Our client is hiring for a Senior Accountant in Alpharetta, GA. This hybrid opportunity offers one day per week work-from-home flexibility and is ideal for an accounting professional with strong multi-state sales and use tax experience. The role will support a variety of accounting functions including tax compliance, reconciliations, fixed assets, and audit support within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working independently while collaborating across departments.

Responsibilities:
Manage all sales and use tax functions including filings, reconciliations, tax rate assignments, and vendor coordination Prepare month-end journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules Support annual audits, property tax filings, government compliance reporting, and related accounting projects Serve as the primary contact for sales tax inquiries while supporting additional accounting functions and process improvementsQualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; advanced education or certifications preferred 3-5 years of accounting experience with strong multi-state sales and use tax expertise required Proficiency with ERP systems, CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales tax software platforms Strong understanding of GAAP with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills If this position is not a perfect fit, please do not hesitate to pass this posting along to anyone else you know that may be interested.
