Our team is responsible for the full accounting cycle for our physician practices, urgent care facilities, and resident practices that support our HCA Hospitals.
Monthly Responsibilities:
Coordinate and review work completed by staff accounting team Review monthly journal entries and account analysis to ensure accuracy Compose month over month market variance explanations Interact with various internal and external stakeholders Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations Review and approve requests for Provider payments Mentor/Lead a team of accountants Provide technical trainings for your team Exercise professionalism to meet department established deadlines Maintain relationships with your peer team, field team & hospital teams Identify areas for continued process improvements Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's of Arts or Science Degree in Accounting or other business-related fields 5 years of progressive accounting experience Supervisory experience desired Must have experience with reviewing other staff's journal entries Healthcare background is a plus Eagerness to learn and grow Ability to multitask Ability to work individually within a team environment Good oral and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills Benefits HCA Healthcare, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
