Duties Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing processes. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure timely processing and accuracy. Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements. Utilize software systems including Quickbooks online, Microsoft Excel and other products. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting. (no exceptions will be made) Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles with a focus on financial concepts such as debits & credits, double-entry bookkeeping, and journal entries. Strong knowledge of GAAP standards Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks and Excel. Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation and analysis skills accurately under tight deadlines. Job Summary Imagine an accounting job with no tax work and no client generation responsibility. Just help get our clients ready for what they need whether that be prep for their annual review or audit or simply producing monthly financial statements. Work from our Oak Brook office but some work from home is possible over time.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
