Senior Accountant- Manufacturing Our manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This role will focus on day-to-day General Ledger accounting as well as financial reporting.
The position is located in the West Chester, PA, suburbs and offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day General Ledger accounting activities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Strong Bank reconciliation work.
Support financial reporting in accordance with GAAP
Have previous accounting experience working for a manufacturing company.
Assist with inventory management controls and audits
Prepare and analyze gross margin reporting for senior management
Support pricing and valuation analysis related to transactional accounting
Work in a deadline-driven environment while contributing to process improvements
Collaborate with and support a growing accounting team
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
3-6 years of experience within a manufacturing or distribution company
Experience with a large ERP accounting system.
Strong Excel skills
Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
