This is a highly responsible position working under the direction of the Accounting Administrator. It consists of performing financial functions relating to corporate accounting and functions relating to payroll.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant will have: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other related field is preferred. A minimum of 4 years' experience in financial accounting and reporting (required), specifically in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and operational budgeting. A minimum of 2 years' payroll processing experience is preferred. Working knowledge of creating and using spreadsheets. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with using accounting software to, at a minimum, generate reports and review and research transactions. The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. This is an in-person position in the Tallahassee office of Florida Housing Finance Corporation. We do not offer remote work options.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Anticipated hiring salary is $60,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
