Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Lead key aspects of the month-end and year-end close process
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
- Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Support annual audits and work directly with external auditors
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Partner with operational teams to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
Senior Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations
- CPA or CPA track preferred
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems #
