  • The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Corporate Finance team.
Reports directly to Assistant Controller. Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly close process. Complete bank reconciliations for all cash accounts and prepare adjusting journal entries as necessary. Utilize Oracle products (NetSuite and NSAW) to prepare account reconciliations and monthly financial statements prior to distribution to management/owners. Compile information for any miscellaneous financial reports requested by various stake holders (i.e., expense, allocation, or depreciation schedules) and follow up on any questionable or unusual issues in relation to bank or financial statements. Prepare property tax reports and submit filings to state and local municipalities. Maintain fixed and intangible asset systems/schedules. Participate in and support the annual budget process as needed. Cross training across the corporate finance department (AR, AP, FP&A, etc.). Any and all special projects and other tasks. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from a four-year college or university, required 3 years accounting experience, required Public accounting experience, preferred CPA or CPA eligible, preferred
U.S. GAAP

  • Excellent reading comprehension skills. Must be able to communicate professionally and clearly. Strong language and writing skills are necessary. Reasoning Ability
  • Must have strong critical thinking skills and ability to see the "big picture," while also paying close attentional to financial details. Must be able to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions. Must use effective analytical & problem-solving skills daily. Work Schedule

  • The pay for this position is $89,440 per year.
