Senior Accounting Associate Dalio Family Office Overview:
The Dalio Family Office (DFO) supports Barbara and Ray Dalio and their family in their ventures, investments, and philanthropic efforts under Dalio Philanthropies, which includes OceanX, Dalio Education, Endless Network, and the Beijing Dalio Foundation. The core of the DFO's culture is built around meaningful work and meaningful relationships and the family's commitment to giving back. The office is headquartered in Westport, CT with regional offices in New York City, Singapore, and Abu Dhabi.
Position Summary:
As a Senior Accounting Associate, you'll take ownership of core bookkeeping and accounting activities across our entities while leading key projects and processes within the accounting function. This role offers meaningful exposure to a wide range of accounting and investment‑related work, with the opportunity to tackle new challenges every day, contribute to process improvement, and build long‑term, trusted partnerships across the organization. Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following: Own and perform complex bookkeeping and accounting activities for investment and operating entities, including: Executing day-to-day general ledger activity as part of the monthly close process Maintaining general ledgers used for tax and financial reporting Preparing bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations Performing cash management activities Preparing and maintaining schedules, analyses, and reports to support tax return preparation Gather and analyze information across investment reports, including capital gains, interest and dividend income, and alternative and fixed income securities, and appropriately book related activity Own and drive key accounting and financial projects and recurring processes Review disbursements, reconciliations, credit card transactions, general ledger activity, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness Identify areas of risk or inefficiency and design and implement solutions or process improvements Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide accounting support as needed Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills, attributes, and values: Driven to achieve excellence - high standards and expectations Highly organized and reliable Ability to synthesize, report, and analyze information Ability to manage and drive multiple initiatives to completion Proven ability to work independently with excellent judgment and discretion Excellent written and oral communication skills Thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment and be comfortable navigating ambiguity

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field At least seven (7) years of progressive accounting experience Experience working with enterprise general ledger systems such as Intacct, NetSuite, Oracle, or comparable platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
Hands‑on experience with investment and/or expense accounting Advanced degree (MBA) and/or professional certification (CPA or CA) Prior exposure to a large or multi‑family office(s), or similarly complex organization Experience collaborating with international teams across time zones and regions
Compensation:
Compensation for the role includes a competitive salary in the range from $150,000 -$200,000 (inclusive of a merit-based bonus, dependent on years of experience, level of education obtained, as well as applicable skillset) and an excellent benefits package, including a comprehensive employer paid medical plan and generous employer match for 401k.
