Senior Accounting Manager Responsibilities:
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple healthcare entities Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare industry requirements Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement packages Partner with operational leaders to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary contact for external auditors Evaluate and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies Support acquisitions, integrations, and other growth-related initiatives as needed
Senior Accounting Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance CPA strongly preferred 7+ years of progressive accounting experience Prior management experience required Healthcare, medical services, physician practice, hospital, behavioral health, or life sciences experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills #
