Job Description

Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical partner to our global purchasing organization (Hilton Supply Management or "HSM"). As a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Accounting on the Supply Chain and Sustainability Reporting team reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain Accounting, you will focus on ensuring accurate reporting for HSM. What you'll do during a typical day: Support month-end close and reporting activities for HSM, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Support HSM business and FP&A teams with all finance and accounting related needs. Utilize Hilton's accounting policies and memos to understand the accurate accounting treatment for items related to your responsibilities. How you'll collaborate with others: Work with HSM, Finance, Technology, and Tax to resolve close, reporting, and transaction processing issues. Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide requested documentation. Provide a support role for all other consolidation and external reporting processes. Deliverables you'll take ownership of: Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supporting documentation for new or updated accounting processes Oversee the daily accounting and reporting for our HSM Projects managed by our third-party procurement partner What It Takes to Make the Stay You have these minimum qualifications: Three (3) years of work experience in finance, accounting, or related field Understanding of US GAAP Experience disaggregating, analyzing, and reconciling financial data Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (power query, pivot tables) Hybrid schedule from McLean, VA It would be useful if you have: BA/BS Bachelor's Degree Certified Public Accountant or exam candidate Experience with PeopleSoft or Oracle Cloud EPM Financial Consolidation and Close (FCC) Experience with Microsoft platform tools (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI), process automation, and CoPilot
