Job Description
Senior Bookkeeper / Accounting Coordinator Law firm seeking an exceptional accounting professional to oversee bookkeeping and financial reporting for multiple growing businesses. This is not an entry-level bookkeeping position. We are looking for someone who thoroughly understands QuickBooks Online, financial statements, reconciliations, trust accounting, inventory control, and departmental profitability reporting. The successful candidate will help prepare accurate, timely financial reports that allow management to make informed business decisions.
Responsibilities:
Manage QuickBooks Online for various businesses Trust account three-way reconciliation Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and accounts Prepare weekly or monthly financial management & reporting packages for monthly financial meetings. Track assets, liabilities, and equity Monitor projects Maintain inventory records and reconciliations Monitor cost of goods sold and profit margins across departments Reconcile merchant processing accounts Manage accounts payable and receivable Assist with budgeting and cash flow management Work with outside CPA, CFO and other professionals
Requirements:
Extensive QuickBooks Online experience Integration and mapping experience Strong understanding of accounting principles Ability to prepare and ensure accurate Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss Statements Experience with inventory accounting Experience with trust accounting Exceptional attention to detail Ability to identify errors and solve problems independently Strong organizational and communication skills Familiarity with project-based coding (by job, task, or department) preferred Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets Preferred Experience:
Strong computer programs & applications skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum 3-5 years of bookkeeping, accounting support, or financial data entry experience Experience working in a multi-entity business environment is a plus We are looking for someone who takes ownership, loves accuracy, enjoys solving problems, and wants to be part of a growing organization.
