Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced forensic accounting professional to join our Economic Damages & Valuations team as a Senior Consultant, supporting engagements primarily focused on family law and matrimonial matters. This role works closely with testifying experts, directors, and practice leadership to analyze complex financial information, prepare reports and exhibits, and support all phases of litigation, including discovery, mediation, depositions, and trial.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional ready to take on increased responsibility in case leadership, client relationships, and team development. The role includes managing engagements from initiation through expert testimony or settlement within a fast-paced litigation consulting environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, experience in forensic accounting or family law, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform forensic accounting analyses in family law and matrimonial mattersAnalyze personal and business financial records, including bank statements, general ledgers, tax returns, and QuickBooks filesTrace income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and identify potential hidden or dissipated assetsPrepare lifestyle analyses, income analyses, net worth analyses, and cash flow reconstructionsAssist in business valuation engagementsPrepare expert reports, schedules, exhibits, and other litigation support materialsSupport directors in discovery, depositions, mediation, and trial preparationMaintain organized workpapers and meet court and litigation deadlinesQualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 5+ years of forensic accounting experience with substantial family law exposureExperience supporting litigation and expert witness engagementsStrong understanding of:o Equitable distributiono Income available for supporto Tracing separate vs. marital propertyo Business owner compensation analysiso Cash flow and lifestyle analysisProficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, and financial analysis toolsExcellent analytical, organizational, and written communication skillsAbility to work independently in a fully remote environment Preferred QualificationsMaster's DegreeSpanish language proficiency is strongly preferred, including the ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.

CPA; CFF, CVA, CDFA or CFE designation strongly preferred or actively in progress.
