Company Description As trusted advisors, Joseph A. DeLuca Advisory & Consulting Services LLC ("DeLuca Advisory Services") uses auditing, investigations, data and operational analysis to help solve our clients' most complex problems. DeLuca Advisory Services is a boutique consulting firm that currently has just over 25 full-time staff. Since its founding in 2019, the firm has experienced steady growth in clients, revenue and staff. Most of DeLuca Advisory Services' work is with public sector agencies and many of DeLuca Advisory Services' staff have experience in working in the public sector. In addition to the work being done in Philadelphia, DeLuca Advisory Services also has led other compliance engagements, acted as an independent monitor of government contractors and performed investigations and forensic audits. DeLuca Advisory Services' leaders are an experienced group of professionals that have frequently worked with one another throughout their careers. DeLuca Advisory Services is looking for a senior level Forensic Accountant to join our growing team. Accountants are vital to our work and participate in nearly every client engagement.
Responsibilities:
Perform risk assessments on client projects and vendors. Conduct forensic analysis of financial data. Prepare forensic accounting reports from financial findings. Provide supporting audit services on new and existing assignments. Participate in advisory engagements. Develop and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and clients. Perform the day-to-day activities of projects including interaction with client personnel, team members, and professionals from other firms involved in the engagement. Deliver a high-quality product within established timeframes and budgets. Assist in managing client relationships and expectations.Knowledge & Skills:
Experience identifying potential issues or enhancement opportunities by reviewing information and making judgment calls about the completeness and accuracy of information. Experience in conducting forensic analysis of financial and other documentation. Experience in data analysis and the preparation of spreadsheets. Experience in grant management and oversight a plus. High level of initiative, strong work ethic, and self-motivation. Strong attention to detail. Proven ability to work well within a team environment while accomplishing individual projects. Strong personal and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently. Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.Professional Experience Required:
A minimum of Bachelors' Degree required in accounting, forensic accounting, finance, or related field. CPA strongly preferred;CFE / CIA
a plus. Three to five years of accounting, internal controls, or audit experience. Experience in conducting scopes of work related to contractual and regulatory compliance, integrity monitoring, financial audits / investigations, compliance audits, and risk assessments. Advanced analytical and issue resolution ability and problem solving is essential. Proficient with PC environments and related software, including all Microsoft Office applications with advanced skills in Excel. Salary commensurate with experience. DeLuca offers a comprehensive benefits package. In addition to a base salary, this position is also eligible for annual performance-based bonuses.
