Key Responsibilities:
Support GAAP and statutory investment accounting and reporting Analyze debt securities, equity securities, derivatives, and related investment income Prepare and review investment reconciliations and journal entries Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting requirements Support statutory reporting, including AVR and IMR calculations Review investment pricing and ratings data Partner with investment managers, custodians, auditors, and internal stakeholders Identify process improvements and automation opportunities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2-4 years of accounting experience Corporate insurance/investment accounting experience or public accounting experience auditing investments
Preferred Experience:
Statutory accounting/reporting AVR/IMR exposure Investment accounting platforms or accounting systems
