Job Description

Senior Plant Accounting manager Fort Worth, TX - hybrid, 3 days onsite/week •5-10% annual travel to sites across NY, CO and TX•
Compensation:
$135-155K + 10-15% Bonus One of Vaco's publicly-traded manufacturing and industrial clients is looking to onboard a Senior Manager of Accounting/Plant Controller. We previously placed a Controller on the Accounting team earlier this year and we've received great feedback on the work, company culture and leadership. This role will have complete ownership over one site (5 sites for a $400M division) that will include a blend of operational/costing as well as finance, budgeting/forecasting. Day-to-Day Lead all plant financial activities, including monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of plant financial statements in accordance with company policies and GAAP. Analyze production performance, COGS, labor, material usage, and overhead costs to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities. Own standard cost development, annual cost roll, BOM validation, and cost model accuracy. Manage inventory accounting, cycle counts, physical inventories, and related reconciliations. Serve as the primary financial business partner to the Plant Manager and operations leadership. Provide financial guidance on capital projects, ROI analysis, productivity initiatives, and labor planning. Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost-reduction efforts through data-driven insights. ======================== Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
