Job Description:

Senior Revenue Accountant Overview We're partnering with a growing, multi-location organization to add a Senior Revenue Accountant who will play a key role in overseeing revenue accounting operations and ensuring accurate, compliant financial reporting. This role will own critical components of the revenue lifecycle, partner cross-functionally, and support audit and compliance efforts in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Own the revenue and accounts receivable close process, ensuring accurate and timely results across a large, multi-entity footprint Review, analyze, and reconcile revenue-related balance sheet accounts Partner with Revenue Operations to research and resolve unapplied cash and billing discrepancies Manage intercompany revenue activity, including eliminations for consolidated reporting Calculate, review, and record complex commission arrangements Maintain and apply revenue recognition guidance in alignment with current accounting standards Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules in accordance with

U.S. GAAP

Coordinate with external auditors by providing documentation and explanations related to revenue transactions Collaborate with external tax advisors to support sales tax reporting and compliance Identify opportunities to improve processes across the quote-to-cash cycle Contribute to a collaborative team environment while maintaining strong internal controls and confidentiality standards What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting 6+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition principles Experience supporting audits and preparing financial documentation Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail Clear communicator who can work effectively with finance and non-finance partners Preferred Experience Background a multi-site, high-growth organization Familiarity with practice management or billing platforms CPA, CPA- eligibility or progress toward certification Why This Role This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact accounting role with ownership, visibility, and room to influence processes as the organization continues to scale.
