Job Description
Our client is a Miami Design District-based luxury interiors and furniture company specialising in ultra-high-end residential and commercial projects. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to take ownership of the company's accounts and day-to-day finance function. This is a senior, hands-on role reporting directly to the COO and Owner, with responsibility for accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow management, and continuous process improvement within a fast-paced, design-led business. The position offers hybrid working. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting and month-end close process Oversee cash flow management and forecasting Manage accounts receivable, billing, and collections Oversee accounts payable and vendor management Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting packs Monitor budgets and perform variance analysis Maintain and improve accounting systems, controls, and processes Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls Provide financial insight to ownership to support decision-making Ideal Profile Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 8+ years' accounting experience, ideally within interiors, manufacturing, construction or SME/high-growth environments Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting Experience with project-based accounting highly advantageous Advanced Excel skills and strong accounting systems capability Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Comfortable working autonomously and improving existing processes Benefits Excellent Salary and benefits, subject to qualifications, experience and interview.
