Archford Accounting, LLC At Archford Accounting, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced senior tax accountant to join our team and assist with managing client relationships and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. As a senior tax accountant, you will be responsible for processing client financials, preparing tax returns, and providing exceptional service to our clients. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the high standards of tax services for which Archford Accounting is known.
The Role:
Archford Accounting is seeking a senior tax accountant who will play a critical role in assisting with the management of client relationships and the formulation and implementation of tax advice. This role involves working closely with tax managers and other team members to ensure exceptional service delivery. The senior tax accountant will assist with processing client financials, correspondence, reports, data entry, and tax preparation for both individuals and businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Preparation & Compliance Prepare complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts including but not limited to 1040s, 1120s, 1120S's, 1065s, 1041s, and 990s Prepare and review extensions, projections, and quarterly estimated tax payments Analyze financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accurate tax reporting Input, research, and correct transactions in QuickBooks Online; reconcile accounts, make journal entries, and produce financial statements Client Management & Advisory Assist with managing client relationships and support tax managers in client communication and tax planning initiatives Support the coordination of integrated tax-saving strategies with Archford wealth advisors Research tax matters and clearly communicate findings in responses to notices from taxing authorities Identify tax planning opportunities based on a deep understanding of client business and personal financials Team Collaboration & Leadership Assist colleagues with tax software and accounting platforms Help implement best practices for process improvement and firm-wide efficiency Flexibly prioritize and manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines with a high degree of accuracy Professional Development & Firm Growth Monitor developments in tax legislation and continue professional education to maintain and enhance tax knowledge Provide insights and suggestions for refining firm policies and workflow enhancements
What We're Looking For:
CPA certification Minimum of 5 years of client-facing public accounting experience Experience preparing business tax returns a plus Strong client service orientation and a team mentality Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Aptitude to understand client concerns, questions, and problems, and identify appropriate solutions Proficiency in QuickBooks, UltraTax, Salesforce/CRM system, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Outlook are preferred
