Senior Tax Accountant / Client Advisor Bel Air, MD (In-Person) Most public accounting roles are built around volume and deadlines. Ours is built around relationships, thoughtful planning, and doing things right . We are a boutique tax and advisory firm serving a select group of high-income individuals and business owners. Our clients value depth, clarity, and long-term guidance; not rushed, transactional work. What Makes This Role Different Low-volume, high-touch client work Direct involvement in client conversations and planning <50 hours during busy season Tight-knit, supportive team environment "Summer schedule" option after a proven period What You'll Do Prepare and review complex individual and business tax returns Participate in client meetings and explain tax concepts clearly Identify planning opportunities and follow through Communicate with clients throughout the year Collaborate with a small, high-performing team and strong support staff Who This Is For 5+ years experience of tax return preparation Comfortable working directly with clients Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing things right Wants to move beyond pure compliance into advisory Who This Is NOT For Prefer high-volume, fast-turn work over quality Not interested in client interaction Looking for fully remote work Qualifications 5+ years experience of tax return preparation Strong background in complex individual and business returns CPA highly preferred (EA or equivalent experience considered) Our Environment We are a values-driven firm focused on integrity, stewardship, and long-term relationships.
