Job Description

SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT / CPA
Magellan Tax, a division of T3A Tax, is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant or CPA to join our team. This role offers a unique succession opportunity with an established client portfolio. The ideal candidate enjoys working directly with clients, delivering strategic tax planning and guidance, and serving as a trusted advisor to individuals and business owners. This position plays a key role in maintaining long-standing client relationships while supporting the continued growth and success of the firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, LLC, S-Corporation, and corporate tax returns Provide tax planning and advisory services Research and resolve complex tax matters Respond to IRS and state tax notices Develop and maintain strong client relationships Mentor and support junior staff members Participate in client meetings and strategic planning discussions Assist with process improvement and firm growth initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field CPA license preferred 6+ years of public accounting experience Strong experience with individual and business taxation Experience reviewing tax returns and work prepared by others Strong client relationship skills
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Trust and estate taxation High-net-worth individual tax planning Family-owned and closely held business clients Leadership or supervisory experience

Pay:
$90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
