Performance Bonus:
$10,000 for completing 200+ tax returns within 1st year and achieving client experience survey-score average over 9.0 out of 10.0. Equity Options (Optional) : Will offer a clear pathway to profits interest ownership in hiring process.

Includes 1 day/wk remote work (after first 90 days) Ongoing flexibility for work/family balance Early close on Fridays (3:30) Overview The Full-Time Senior Accountant (CPA). will lead the transition of Caliber Wealth Management's tax preparation services from 3rd parties to in-house. This role is a key part of expanding our service offerings to enhance client experience and build Caliber's CPA practice. In addition to completing tax returns, the Senior Accountant (CPA) will collaborate with leadership to integrate tax services into marketing, billing, compliance, tech, and operational workflows. The CPA will also provide expert tax advisory services to high-net-worth clients, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and value-driven outcomes. Key Responsibilities 1. Tax Preparation and Advisory Complete approximately 250-350 individual tax returns annually for clients with over $500K in AUM. Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely filing of all tax-related documents. Stay updated on tax regulations and provide strategic tax planning advice to clients. 2. Building Caliber's CPA Practice This is a newly created role designed to expand Caliber's in-house financial services. Previously, tax returns were outsourced; this position brings tax preparation in-house to enhance client experience and integration. Collaborate with the COO to build and integrate Caliber's Senior Accountant (CPA) practice into operational workflows. Identify opportunities to streamline tax-related services and align them with Caliber's broader service offerings. Develop processes and infrastructure for the Senior Accountant (CPA) practice to support long-term scalability and client satisfaction. 3. Client Engagement and Advisory Act as a trusted advisor to high-value clients, offering proactive tax planning and financial advice. Build strong relationships with clients and work collaboratively with the advisory team to align tax strategies with broader financial goals. 4. Collaboration with Leadership Work closely with the COO to align tax services with operational and strategic objectives. Support cross-functional collaboration to integrate tax services into Caliber's client-centric business model. 5. Team Development and Culture Foster a performance-driven, family-first, and empowering workplace culture. Mentor and support other team members in understanding and integrating tax-related concepts into their roles. Provide occasional internal tax advice for staff Qualifications CPA certification with extensive experience in tax preparation and planning. Expertise in working with high-net-worth individuals and families, particularly those with complex financial situations. Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance standards. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Proven ability to develop and implement efficient workflows for tax preparation services. Strategic thinker with a track record of innovation and results.
