Sr. Accountant

Description The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $100,000 plus bonus, and it comes with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance. We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the CPA industry. Based in Chicago, Illinois, the Sr. Accountant will join our team and play a key role in our operations. This role focuses on a range of accounting duties, from maintaining accurate customer records to processing applications and monitoring accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Process bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Maintain and update the general ledger periodically
• Prepare and record journal entries as per business requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis
• Handle the month-end close process efficiently
• Utilize NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks.

Requirements Job Requirements:

• Applicant must possess proven experience in Account Reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is a requirement.
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations is necessary.
• Candidate should have a deep understanding of the General Ledger.
• Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries is crucial.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
• Experience with Month End Close procedures is essential.
• Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite is a plus.
• Familiarity with Oracle software is beneficial.
• Previous experience in using SAP is an advantage.
