Sr. Accountant

Our client, a small but rapidly growing service company located off Highway 45 on the Conroe / Woodlands border, is seeking a Lead Accounting Professional for an immediate direct-hire opportunity. This position is open due to a long-tenured employee transitioning to a remote opportunity after 15 successful years with the company. Responsibilities will include:

Full-cycle general accounting through financial statement preparationAccounts Payable and Accounts ReceivablePayroll processing and related reconciliationsInventory tracking and accounting supportGeneral ledger maintenanceJournal entries and account reconciliationsAssisting with month-end and year-end closeWorking within QuickBooks and Excel to maintain accurate financial recordsSupporting leadership with reporting and operational accounting needsPartner with outside CPA on Tax and complex accounting mattersAssisting with process improvements as the company continues to growThis company values its employees and is seeking someone who wants to grow alongside the organization over the long term.
