Refer a Friend Back to Search LaSalle Network is hiring for a Staff Accountant to join our client's team in Bolingbrook, IL. This project-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on operational accounting, month-end close activities and partnering across departments to drive accuracy and efficiency. The Staff Accountant will gain exposure to executive-level reporting, process improvement initiatives and key financial operations while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. As a Staff Accountant , you will: Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and reporting support Perform general ledger accounting functions to ensure financial accuracy Manage expense accounting activities and assist with variance analysis Support incentive and commission-related accounting processes Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements Partner with multiple departments to support accounting operations and reporting needs Maintain accurate financial records while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and operational initiatives We're looking for a Staff Accountant who has: 1-3 years of accounting experience Experience supporting month-end close and general ledger accounting Knowledge of expense accounting and variance analysis Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including working with reports and linked data Experience working with accounting systems and financial data

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP Concur or similar expense management platforms Experience working within SAP or another ERP system
