Job Description

Meloni Hribal Tratner LLP is currently seeking an experienced staff to join our established and dynamic practice. We are a full-service Los Angeles-based accounting firm that offers audit, tax, and consulting services to diverse clients in various industries. Our clients range from startups to middle-market enterprises, as well as entrepreneurs and prominent high net-worth individuals. We are among the largest accounting firms in Los Angeles. Our partners and firm are heavily involved in CalCPA and other community activities. Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning and executing audit and tax engagements, while monitoring budgets and progress and reporting status to team members. Involved in the preparation of federal and multi-state tax returns for various flow-through entities, high-net-worth individuals, and different types of business entities. Prepare financial statements and related footnote disclosures. Aids in the research and analysis of accounting and tax issues. Engage directly with client personnel to address and resolve tax and accounting-related matters. Prepare and file tax documents in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Stay current with accounting standards and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in Accounting Preferably CPA or actively pursuing CPA license 2+ years of accounting experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tax software Self-motivated and detail oriented
