In this dual-function role, you will own day-to-day accounting operations while also contributing to financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and providing data-driven insights to support business decisions in a fast-paced cybersecurity environment. Key Responsibilities Accounting & General Ledger Maintain and reconcile the general ledger using QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all entries Record and review journal entries, accruals, and month-end adjustments Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments and customer invoicing Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures in accordance with GAAP Prepare and review bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements Financial Planning & Analysis Assist in the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans Analyze variances between actuals and budget/forecast, providing clear narratives on key drivers Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making Prepare management reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and ad hoc financial analyses for leadership Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Product teams to gather data and deliver meaningful financial insights Support month-end close commentary and executive presentations Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2-4 years of progressive accounting and/or FP&A experience Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online); experience managing a full-cycle general ledger Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling) Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to manage competing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders Preferred CPA license or active CPA candidate strongly preferred Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology sectors Experience supporting audits (internal or external) What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision A collaborative, mission-driven team protecting organizations from evolving cyber threats
