We build on scalable, redundant, and open architecture. All client and web applications leverage our open API framework and backend microservices. We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. Responsibilities (not limited to)
Month-End Close:
Execute month-end closing procedures, including performing account reconciliations, posting journal entries, and assisting with financial statement preparation.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in compiling periodic financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets, ensuring accuracy for management review. Accounts Payable (AP): Processvendor invoices, match purchase orders, and prepare weekly or bi-weekly disbursement schedules. Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and distribute customer invoices, accurately apply incoming payments, and track/ resolve outstanding aging balances.
Payroll Administration:
Process payroll for domestic and international employees while ensuring compliance with payroll tax filings and payments.
Tax Management:
Supportmonthly and quarterly sales, telecom, and corporate tax filings, including remittances, annual reporting, and related compliance tasks.
Budgeting & Expenses:
Track departmental budgets and oversee employee expense management, auditing reports for policy compliance.
Data Integrity:
Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger by performing regular data entry, system audits, and ERP maintenance.
Special Projects:
Participate in ad-hoc accounting, financial analysis, and process-improvement projects as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional accounting experience. Solid foundational knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards. High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (e.g., XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas) or Google Workspace equivalents. Experience utilizing an ERP system required; hands-on exposure to QuickBooks Online is highly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with a meticulous eye for detail. Exceptional organization and time-management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize deadlines in a multi-task environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration. Uncompromising integrity and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential financial data.
